Our Stories Decodables helps students see themselves in the books they’re reading with decodable texts that reflect the diversity and experiences of students, while also targeting specific sound-spellings. Our Stories Decodables supports readers in Grades K-2 and provides additional sound-spelling practice for striving readers up to Grade 5.

Dr. Tanji Reed Marshallis a recognized expert on educational equity and educational leadership. In her role, she advised on the collection’s development and worked closely with the Our Stories authors on issues related to educational equity.
