International publishers may apply to translate a Canadian-authored work, including most Scholastic Canada children’s books, into a foreign language including related promotional activities.
Maximum Funding Amounts are: up to $20,000 for translation and up to $2,000 for promotional expenses. Applicants may receive a maximum amount of $44,000 per calendar year.
There are three application deadlines each year.
This opportunity is offered through Canada Council’s Arts Abroad program which funds translation of Canadian literary works for international presentation or publication.
