SUNSHINE QUEM TENASCO is Anishinabe, from Kitigan Zibi Anishinabeg, Quebec. She is a clean water activist. Through her website, www.herbraids.com, Sunshine sells the beaded pendants she makes, with a portion of the profits going to the David Suzuki Blue Dot campaign, which supports the right to a clean environment. She is a mother of four, and Smile So Big is her second picture book.
