DENISE DIAS has long been committed to healthcare philanthropy. Prior to joining the Terry Fox Foundation, she volunteered for many charitable organizations, including Art Starts, Rethink Breast Cancer and The Canadian Cancer Society. She has published several children’s books in addition to being a writer whose work appeared in The Globe and Mail, Toronto Star, Toronto Life and HGTV. She’s also an avid reader, occasional baker and, after inheriting a vegetable patch, an accidental gardener. Denise lives in Toronto with her husband, two children and a Siamese fighting fish.
