ALISON HUGHES has published 16 books for young people, with translation in French, Korean, Dutch and Turkish. She is the winner of the Writers’ Union of Canada Writing for Children Competition and has received many other award nominations. Alison does writing workshops at schools, libraries, conferences and festivals. She also works as a writing advisor/editor for the University of Alberta, and volunteers with children and literacy.
