Nail Phonics by Using Your Child’s Favourite Characters

Call on furry pals and cool superheroes to help support reading fundamentals!

Phonemic awareness is fundamental to a child’s early reading success. When children learn to hear and manipulate sounds, they are able to build a stronger foundation for reading comprehension, fluency, and decoding.

That’s why it’s so important to practice these skills during storytime with your little one. And if you’re looking for ways to get kids excited to read, try calling on their favorite characters for backup.
