It\u2019s OK if your little one is nervous! The pressure to make friends and excel academically can be a lot on early learners.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Plan to have conversations with your child ahead of the big day about what they are looking forward to and most hesitant about.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>When it comes to the topics of making friends and spending the day away from home, there are plenty of memorable stories that can soothe your child\u2019s nerves or amplify their enthusiasm \u2014 whichever they need.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:5px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Books for the First Day of School<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Sometimes a comforting read with familiar characters is all it takes to reassure littles ones about their big worries.
